Subject: [*] Align Utilities 8.1.7

Align Utilities - is a set of two AppleScript Drag & Drop applications,
Window Align and Icon Align, that are useful in improving the appearance
of disk and folder windows under Mac OS 8. Version 8.1.7 corrects two
localizations that prevented windows from opening properly in non-US
systems.

Window align - positions windows of desktop folders and disks at the
upper left corner of the main screen, just below the Menu bar; all other
folder windows are positioned so that its left edge is aligned with that
of its parent and its title bar is just below the title bar of its
parent. The width and height of the window is corrected, if necessary,
to conform with the Width and Height preferences. An Option Key feature
lets you position windows for all sub-folders, sub-sub-folders, etc.
(Requires Mac OS 8.0, 8.1 or 8.5)

Icon Align - aligns icons in a window with icon view to a grid with 2, 3
or 4 columns and in a list view window sets the View Options to Name
only. An Option Key feature lets you copy a List View of a window to all
of its sub-folders, sub-sub-folders, etc. (Requires Mac OS 8.0 or 8.1.
Not compatible with 8.5.)

Subject: [*] Cion v1b

Further the cause to waste time in a vaguely amusing manner comes Cion.
It's a Break-Out, Brickles, Arkanoid style game. Even as a remake of a
remake it has some neat features:

Gravity, the ball is subject to the forces of gravity. Thus the paddle
has been freed to perform two dimensional rather than one dimensional
movement, enabling the player to control the speed of the ball.

Fred: Fred is your android companion. He's also got a set of emotions
and he'll respond to your actions. If you play well he's happy, he'll
frown when you play bad and get a little angry if he doesn't think you're
trying hard.

System requirements:

System 8.0
10 MB RAM

This is a Apple Script that was saved as an application. The reason I
made this script is because I miss my desktop printer on my old Power
Mac. Now, that Im using the new iMac with an Epson 740 printer I dont
have a Desktop Printer because Epson does not support the Desktop
Printer on the Apple iMac

Im releasing this application as a sharewere. The sharewere fee is only
$5.00. Try it use it for one month if you like it pay the sharewere fee
if you dont like it just trash it. A little price to pay for a good
application that will make desktop printing possible. To pay just e-mail
me at hidozage@csi.com and I will e-mail you back where to send your
sharewere fees.

What does Drop and Print do?

Subject: [*] EnScrypt Lite

It will work on any Mac. Requires at least OS 7.6 . The attached file is
a Lite version of EnScrypt for the Mac, and it's free. This is also a more
powerful and custom version . Pricing available on request.

What Is EnScrypt?

It is sophisticated software to do encryption. Built as a "Scripting
Addition", EnScrypt is an indispensable tool for software developers,
script writers and anyone needing to provide encryption security on
the Macintosh platform. Encryption is provided for EnScrypt by the
"Blowfish" algorithim. "Blowfish" is one of several very secure and
well-known symmetric encryption algorithims.

EnScrypt (Lite): Freeware. This is a demo version of EnScrypt which
is restricted in the power of its encryption, but its 24 bits of
encryption power make it satisfactory for many security purposes. It
is available via FTP at ftp://ftp.highwinds.com, and as an email
attachment via autoresponder at
mailto://1001-EnScryptLite.sit@ar.highwinds.com

EnScrypt (Custom): This is a proprietary version of EnScrypt only for
Macintosh developers. It uses strong encryption (56 bits and higher),
and is released only with customized access codes. Proprietary
versions can be developed for anyone subject to export restrictions.
Prices for licencing available upon request.
More information: mailto://support@highwinds.com data security package that
brings data access protection and data validation functions to the 4th
Dimension environment in the form of a standard 4D plug-in. Available on
both Macintosh and Windows platforms, it uses industry standards to
provide both a one-way hash function and a public key digital
signature for text and string values. DataProtector's one-way hash
function can be used to provide context specific password features
such as requiring management validation for large orders or checks;
password verification for access to sensitive data; and any other
function where a password can be stored within a data file.
DataProtector's digital signature function can be used to verify that
a particular piece of data was created by the person who claims to
have created it. It also verifies that the data has not been modified
since it was created. Digital signatures are especially useful for
communications between remote 4D systems.

Subject: [*] EPS Factory 1.0.1 - EPS Preview Generation Utility

About EPS Factory(tm)

EPS Factory is a Macintosh application from Art Age Software(tm), the makers
of the award-winning applications epsConverter(tm) and EPStoPICT(tm). EPS
Factory can convert any Level 1 PostScript(R) file into a properly
conforming EPS file, complete with optional preview and thumbnail. In
addition, EPS Factory can add or replace previews and thumbnails in EPS
files, correct inaccurate bounding boxes, and distill the PostScript code in
ill-behaved EPS files. EPS Factory is quite handy in a number of situations.
For example:

   * You have an EPS file, but it doesn't contain a preview image.
Therefore, you cannot see the contents of the EPS file on screen when you
place it into another document. No problem! EPS Factory will read your
existing EPS file and create a new EPS file for you, complete with preview
image and, if you like, a thumbnail too.

   * You have an EPS file which contains a preview image of poor quality.
EPS Factory can read your existing EPS file and create a new EPS file for
you, complete with a new preview image. Plus, you can adjust the preview's
quality with control over color, dithering and antialiasing.

   * You have an EPS file with an inaccurate bounding box comment. This is
one of the more common problems with EPS files. EPS Factory can read your
existing EPS file and create a new EPS file with correct bounding box and
hi-res bounding box information!

   * You have an EPS file that trips up some PostScript RIPs. This is
another common problem with EPS files. When EPS Factory creates a new EPS
file, it can optionally distill the PostScript code into a simpler form,
less likely to cause problems on your RIP.

   * You have a PostScript file which you would like to use as an EPS file.
That is, you would like to import it or place it into a document created by
an application that understands EPS, but balks at raw PostScript. EPS
Factory can create an EPS version of your PostScript file, again complete
with preview image and thumbnail if you choose.

-------------------
System Requirements

EPS Factory requires a Macintosh computer with a PowerPC processor running
System 7.0 or later. Because EPS Factory contains only PowerPC native code,
it will not run on older Macs using 68000 series processors.

To install EPS Factory, simply double-click the EPS Factory Installer icon,
and follow the on-screen instructions.

Pricing and registration details can be found in the package.

Subject: [*] EPStoPICT 1.2.2 - EPS Conversion Utility

About EPStoPICT(tm)

EPStoPICT is a Macintosh application from Art Age Software, the makers of
the award-winning application epsConverter(tm). EPStoPICT can read any
portable Level 1 EPS or PostScript file and convert it into a Macintosh PICT
file, suitable for editing with a Macintosh drawing application, or for
viewing with any application that supports standard PICT files.

EPStoPICT parses the actual PostScript code in the EPS file and translates
it into PICT data. Although this process takes longer than simply extracting
a PICT preview from the EPS file, there are several advantages to this
approach:

(1) Some EPS files do not have a PICT preview to extract!

(2) Often the PICT preview is not an accurate representation of the EPS
file's true contents. It may be poorly rendered, or black and white only,
for example.

(3) When present, PICT previews are usually stored as low-resolution
bitmaps. This essentially prevents them from being scaled or edited.

EPStoPICT produces a vector PICT representation of the PostScript data,
which allows for better scaling (zooming in and out), and even a limited
degree of editing with several popular drawing applications.

EPStoPICT supports AppleScript, Balloon Help and drag and drop operation
from the Finder.

System Requirements

EPStoPICT requires a Macintosh computer with a 68020 or later processor
(including PowerPC) running System 7.0 or later. Once registered, EPStoPICT

Subject: [*] gxMaker 1.0 - PostScript-to-QuickDraw GX Conversion Utility

-----------------
About gxMaker(tm)

gxMaker is a Macintosh application from Art Age Software, the makers of the
award-winning applications epsConverter(tm) and EPStoPICT(tm). gxMaker can
read any portable EPS file (encapsulated PostScript file) and convert it
into a Macintosh QuickDraw GX file, suitable for editing with any QuickDraw
GX-enabled drawing application. An additional option permits the creation of
GX-enhanced PICT files, which can be opened and displayed by any application
capable of displaying standard PICT files, as long as QuickDraw GX (version
1.1 or later) and QuickTime are installed. GX-enhanced PICT files are
superior to standard PICT files in several ways, the most important being
that they are truly resolution-independent. gxMaker also is capable of
converting multi-page PostScript Level 1 files into QuickDraw GX Portable
Digital Documents (PDDs), provided the GX printing services are available
(see System Requirements below).

gxMaker supports Balloon Help and drag and drop operation from the Finder.

-------------------
System Requirements

gxMaker requires a Macintosh computer with a 68020 or later processor
(including PowerPC) running Mac
OS 7.5 (or later) and QuickDraw GX (1.1 or
later recommended). gxMaker also will run fine when Apple's GXGraphics
system extension is installed. The GXGraphics system extension enables the
graphics services of QuickDraw GX without any of the corresponding printing
services. gxMaker disables its PDD generation feature if it detects that the
GX printing services are not available. Therefore, you must install the full
QuickDraw GX package if you wish to use gxMaker to create portable digital
documents. QuickTime is required for the generation of GX-enhanced PICT
files. If gxMaker detects that QuickTime is not installed, it will disable
this feature. Finally, on systems where the full GX package is not
installed, both QuickTime 2.1 or later and GXGraphics are required to view
GX-enhanced PICT files in non-GX-savvy applications.

To install gxMaker, simply double-click the gxMaker Installer icon, and
follow the on-screen instructions.

gxMaker is a free product and is distributed without charge.

Subject: [*] Hi's universal saver 1.6

Hi's Universal Saver is a little application which runs quietly in the
background and automatically saves your work at an interval which you
select. It should work with any application that has a Save command (word
processors, painting, drawing, database and many, many others).

A few of its cool features:

-Warn before saving, Hi's Universal Saver can be set to warn you before
it saves. This feature gives you allows to over ride an auto save in case
you don't want to save the current changes to your document.

-Save silently, in this case Hi's Universal Saver will simply save every
time your save delay interval has been reached.

-Auto Save for all applications or you can choose to include or exclude
certain ones.

Changes since version 1.5.2:

- You now have the option to set the "Save" button as the default button
in Hi's Universal Saver's "warn before saving" dialog box. If you choose
to have "Save" button as the default, you can activate the "Save" button
in "warn before saving" dialogs by pressing the "return" key.

- Improved support for non-English systems. People using non-English
systems will be able to use the new "Advanced Options" settings to
customize Hi's Universal Saver for their language.

This new version is a free update for all registered users (Hi's
Universal Saver is shareware).

System Requirements:

Any Mac with a 68030, 64040 CPU or any PowerMac or PowerMac clone. It
requires System 7.5.3 or later. Of course, it works great with Mac OS
8.5.

Subject: [*] HouseSpider

HouseSpider is an applet/stand-alone-application combination that provides
indexing and search capability to your web site. Once configured, the
indexing application will update the index files of your web site with a
double-click. The applet uses the index files to list keywords in your site
and to provide a fast full-text search front for your site. This package is
ideally suited for a medium size web site of 30-2000 pages.

Requires MRJ 2.1.

Subject: [*] Hynoptic FAT

The mad, acid, savescreen of your choice, is here againg! HypnOptic becomes
HypnOptic Savescreen System, a modular and customizable package that,
better than before, will drive you crazy.
The HypnOptic INIT automates the savescreen starting and the HypnOptic
Control lets you select your favoured module, the idle time and decide
whether the module should play sounds. Furthermore the Control accepts, as
module, any kind of file so it may launch, after the inactivity time, the
file you want: different savescreen applications, disk defragmentation
utilities, the letter you're writing, since one year, to your sweetheart
and so on.
Modules are stand-alone applications so, if you want, you may use them also
without the Control-INIT aid (just like the old HypnOptic), moreover any
module is able to play sounds asynchronously.
Besides INIT and Control, the HypnOptic Savescreen System package contains
four modules:
- HypnOptic Classic, the first, original version of the savescreen
responsible for, always living, HypnOpticmania.
- HypnOptic Standard, based on Classic version with some additional graphic
element. It may, casually, use RGB Colors and patterns, in addition to
Classic QuickDraw.
- OloPpat, it use patterns for creating a simple, but nice, savescreen.
- Sixties, a totally new savescreen with a psychedelic feeling...
Last, but not least, you may find inside the package a SDK for developing
your own savescreen application. The SDK project lets you concentrate only
on the creative part of developing: the main, and more tedious, part of
work is already done. Even if you're a inexperienced programmer you may
easily build your own HypnOptic, stand-alone, module. The SDK contains also
a fifth savescreen: HOSDK.
HypnOptic Control is Internet Config and Navigation Manager aware, moreover
it's Appearance savvy.

Subject: [*] Hynoptic SDK

If you want to write savescreen, stand-alone, modules for HypnOptic
Savescreen System you should use this Software Development Kit. Even if
you are a beginner in programming you may build, and sell, your own
savescreen application! The SDK project lets you concentrate only on the
creative part of developing: the main, and more tedious, part of work is
already done. You may simply change the contents of one routine to have a
new savescreen. If you're more experienced, instead, you may add routines,
change resources and create explosive images.
HypnOptic Modules are Appearance savvy and require at least System 7 to run.

Subject: [*] HyperCard Project Manager is a developer's tool for HyperCard.

It provides developer buttons that are linked to a card or background of
the target stack and contain handlers that are written and used during
development, but are not part of the final release.
These handlers may be used to ...
<> Layout the buttons and fields of a card or background;
<> Draw borders and dividers;
<> Type titles and labels;
<> Run a test;
<> Import data from a file.
These handlers are saved in the Project Manager and are available
when you develop the next version of your project.

Documentation and an example stack is included.

New in version 1.1 - A Tools popup button that allows you to:
<> Record the tools windows that are open and their locations so that
they always re-open where you want them.
<> Do a Script Search (ss) from an Ask dialog instead of the message
box.
This allows you, for example, to simply type 'field "fieldName"'
   instead of '"field "&quote&"fieldName"&quote'.

Also includes a copy of Script Scribe 2.3.

This is the 17" version of a Macintosh desktop background that I've created
for the Mac. This one is of an angle separating the light from the
darkness. The image dimensions are 832x624 and the file format is PICT. You
really should have a 16 bit monitor (32000 colors or better) to see it at
it's best.

My full desktop image collection is available on my website.
