3. IETF document or other contribution to which this IPR disclosure
relates:
draft-ietf-roll-rpl-10

4. Disclosure of patent information, if known (i.e., patents or patent
applications required to be disclosed by Section 6 of RFC 3979):

A) This disclosure is related to the following granted patents and
published pending patent applications:

a) US 7,249,259 B1
Hybrid signature scheme
Patent issued: July 24, 2007
Informal decription: Pintsov-Vanstone signature scheme

Additional notes:

Certicom has issued a patent letter of assurance to IEEE-SA related
to 802.15.4-2006, but did not indicate specific IPR. Hence, although
unclear right now, some of this may be relevant to security-related
portions of the rpl draft as well.

Furthermore, Certicom Corp. may have filed IPR other than that mentioned
above (published or filed, but not published) and may have filed in other
jurisdictions as well.

This disclosure is based on best effort and does not judge on validity
of patent claims (I am no lawyer, after all).

Best regards, Rene
