This is to advise the IETF that Nortel Networks has patents and/or 
patent applications that may be considered essential to RFC 3525, 
Gateway Control Protocol (rfc3525.txt), 
before the Megaco Working Group.  Specifically:

implementing this or other IETF standards document of the Megaco Working Group, Nortel 
Networks is willing to make available non-exclusive licenses on fair, reasonable, 
reciprocal, and non-discriminatory terms and conditions, to such patent rights it owns, 
solely to the extent such rights are essential to comply with such IETF standard.
